The objectives of the measure are aimed at strengthening sustainable forest management by:
• Improving logging for regeneration, conservation of genetic resources, timber extraction, as well as preservation and enhancement of the main functions of forests;
• Improving the quality and quantity of wood by conducting appropriate silvicultural activities (cultivation and pruning);
• Supporting the modernization of specialized equipment for silvicultural activities, as well as the production and extraction of non-timber products from forests.
• Improving the competitiveness and job creation of forestry enterprises.
