The purpose of the grant awarded under the procedure is corresponding with the overall aim of the LAG's strategy of LIG - Lyubimets - Ivailovgrad, namely: "Improving the attractiveness and improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants of the municipalities of Lyubimets and Ivaylovgrad through the sustainable development of a competitive agricultural sector, creating opportunities for business development and employment of the local population, preservation of natural resources and building of accessible and modern infrastructure, promotion of local natural life and traditions, and the development of civil society ".
The expected results from the grant of the measure are:
- Improve small scale public infrastructure.
- Improving the appearance of towns and villages on the territory of the LAG.
- Expansion of basic services for the population related to leisure, sports and culture.
According to Agreement No RD 50-149 of 21.10.2016, the implementation of the LAG's strategy for the LAG - Lyubimets - Ivaylovgrad is supported by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development through sub-Measure 19.2 "Implementation of Operations within the Community-led local development "of measure 19" Community-led local development "from the 2014-2020 Rural Development Program.
