To modernize the activity of the Agency for Social Assistance as an administration implementing the state policy on social assistance and social protection;
To increase the quality of the offered services through their flexible use and ensuring easy access to them, incl. through modernization and digitization of services;
To increase the capacity of staff to improve the effectiveness of the support and services provided;
To improve the support for children and families from the "Social Assistance" Directorates, in their capacity as a child protection authority, including through an intersectoral approach and cooperation with other protection authorities and other involved parties;
-To support the provision and further development of integrated employment and social support services in line with the 2025 Country-Specific Recommendation for Bulgaria: "Improve social inclusion by enhancing access to integrated employment and social services.
