Процедурата има за цел:

1. Уеднаквяване на нивото на първоначална информираност, надграждане на осведомеността и предоставяне на актуална и експертна информация на заинтересованите страни за мрежата Натура 2000 и

2. Актуализиране на Националната приоритетна рамка за действие за Натура 2000 (НПРД).
