The implementation of the strategies will ensure that local fishing or aquaculture communities make better use of their opportunities offered by a sustainable Blue Blue Economy, making them the basis for the development of environmental, cultural, social and human resources. Strategies can be fisheries focused as well as broader strategies aimed at diversifying fishing areas/local communities. Through the implementation of the strategies, it is aimed to increase the ecological, social and economic sustainability of the territories dependent on fishing and aquaculture, in sync with the policies of the European Union on sustainability, green and digital transition, ensuring optimal added value and providing support to local economies .
