Completed/terminated procedure

1. Increasing the capacity of municipalities from the least developed regions of Bulgaria for the preparation and implementation of projects co-financed by EFSМ for the implementation of territorial commitments under the Partnership Agreement

2. Increasing the capacity of urban municipalities for strategic planning and spatial development, for preparation and realization of investments with funds from the EU under the cohesion policy, including participation in EU initiatives.

3. Improving inter-municipal cooperation to achieve more effective planning and use of available EU funding opportunities; to strengthen the functional links between the large urban municipalities and the rural municipalities bordering them; to reduce regional disparities and to achieve the objectives of the European Green Deal.
