This procedure for the grant is intended to ensure a stable and effective European integrated border management at the external borders, contributing to the provision of a high level of internal security within the Union, while ensuring the free movement of persons within the Union and fully respecting the relevant Union acquis and the international obligations of the Union and the Member States arising from the international instruments to which they are parties.
Within the overall objective, the implementation of the envisaged operations will contribute in particular to ensuring a sound and effective European integrated management of external borders and to ensuring a high level of internal security within the EU.
The specific objectives of the current procedure are to strengthen the administrative capacity of the Chief directorate Border Police, upgrade and maintenance the video conferencing system in the Chief directorate Border Police, concluding video surveillance/detection systems for fully automatic threat identification or modification of the chassis of vehicles om the border cross point, supply and installation of technical means for the needs of the Entry/Exit System, optimization of the passenger flow at the external borders and upgrading of the ISN-Blue border.
