"Voluntary return of thrid-country nationals in the country of origin'"
The Home Affairs programme will focus on the main programme areas as described in the Blue Book: Asylum and Migration (AM) and International Police Cooperation and Combating Crime (IPCCC). As per the MoU, the Good Governance programme area shall be also addressed with an emphasis on strengthening the institutional capacity for prevention and combating corruption within the police, asset recovery system in Bulgaria and combating economic crime.
The overall objective of the Home Affairs programme is to strengthen the rule of law.
This will be achieved, among others, through Outcome 1“Increased capacity of the national authorities in asylum and migration areas” and the current procedure will be focused on the implementation of the following specific result – “Voluntary return of the third-country nationals to in the country of origin”.
