The general purpose of the procedure is to support the cultural policies implemented by the Bulgarian municipalities. The procedure aims to stimulate local policies, strategic planning for a proactive culture and increase the administrative capacity of Bulgarian municipalities. This will be done by increasing the scope and impact of existing municipal instruments for cultural policies and by promoting partnerships, building networks and exchanging know-how in cultural investments between Bulgarian municipalities. The procedure aims to contribute to the development of the capacity of cultural operators and the deployment of their activities through the implementation of more effective solutions for planning and forecasting cultural events at the municipal level.
