The aim of the procedure is to optimise prevention, preparedness and response of natural-based disasters (floods, landslides, including hazards caused by them) and to ensure that adequate analyses and evaluations are carried out on different types of risk. The funding provided will integrate the existing local information systems, most of which support early warning and disclosure, in order to take appropriate actions in the event of a threat of impending or imminent disaster by organising fast and effective management of the relevant situation and reducing its effects.
