BG06RDNP001-8.001 - Selection Procedure No BG06RDNP001-8.001 under submeasure 8.6 "Investments in forestry technologies and in the procession, mobilisation and commerce with forestry products" of measure 8 "Investments in the forest areas and improvement of forest viability". (Ended)

Support under this procedure is aimed at achieving the purposes of submeasure 8.6 "Investments in forestry technologies and in the procession, mobilisation and commerce with forestry products" of measure 8 "Investments in the forest areas and improvement of forest viability" of the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 (RDP) through:

1. improvement of competitiveness and creation of new jobs through:

a) promoting the procession and improvement of marketing for forestry products;

b) support for the purchase or lease of new machines and equipment for primary procession of timber;

2. improvement the state of forests, their protection and sustainable management through:

a) support for the carrying out of logging in the high-stemmed and seed-propagated offspring forests up to 40 years old;

b) support for the purchase or leasing of soil-friendly and resource-friendly machines and equipment for logging, loading and transportation of timber for one or more agricultural holdings;

c) support for the sustainable management of forests through setting up of good production practices, including systems for quality management and preparation for certification.
