- Creation of a unified normative and methodological base, covering the processes of organization, expertise, storage and use of electronic documents in the state and municipal institutions, the transfer of the valuable documents in the state archives and their protection;

- Providing a technological opportunity for secure transmission, protection, storage and use of valuable electronic documents in the National Archive Fund;

- Providing public access to the valuable electronic and audiovisual documents stored in the state archives in digital form.
