BG65ISPR001-3.006 - Procedure No 2: Specific objective 3 'Support the strengthening of Member States' capacities to prevent and combat crime, terrorism and radicalisation and to manage security incidents, risks and crises, including through enhanced cooperation between public authorities, relevant Union bodies, services or agencies, civil society and private partners in the different Member States' and specific objective 2 'Improve and intensify cross-border cooperation, including joint operations, between Member States and between Member States'. The procedure is aimed at supporting actions aimed at tackling the main security threats, in particular the prevention and fight against terrorism, radicalisation, serious and organised crime. Support will be provided for the acquisition of appropriate equipment, the strengthening of operational cooperation and the enhancement of counter-crime capacity. The procedure will also support the training of relevant officials and experts, as well as the enhancement of coordination and cooperation between competent authorities at national and European level. In addition, opportunities will be provided for the implementation of a specific action to strengthen cross-border cooperation and operational support aimed at the maintenance of security-related Union and national ICT systems and networks.
