The investments invested in the measure will lead to: diversification of the business activity and the creation of new employment opportunities, outside agriculture, development of services, crafts and tourism, combining natural and cultural values ​​on the territory. This will lead to job creation in activities based on local resources.

The sub-measure will support the development of "green economy" technologies, including renewable energy for own consumption. Supporting investment in non-agricultural activities is essential for sustainable growth and European development of Belene and Nikopol municipalities.
