BGLD-2.001 - Establishing Youth Centres (Ended)

The procedure will support the establishing youth centres that meet high standards of youth work, that provide comprehensive services to young people and ensure diversity of activities (incl. international activities). The youth centres must respond to the needs and aspirations of young people, including the ones from the vulnerable groups, offering activities that support the multicultural approach, protect democratic values and promote active civic involvement. It is essential that the youth centres ensure the active participation of young people in the activities of the centre and provide non-formal education opportunities on democratic values, human rights, and youth participation. The centres must work proactively with community, stakeholders, local public authorities to develop coordinated policies and actions for young people, including those from vulnerable groups.
