This is a direct award procedure with specific beneficiary - Water management directorate in the Ministry of environment and water. The objectives of the grant are as follows:
1. carrying out preparatory activities, studies and assessments necessary for the preparation of the second Flood Risk Management Plans (FRMPs) for the period 2022 - 2027, including update of the flood risk assessment methodology in accordance with art. 187, par.2, 6 of the Water act.
The studies and assessments for the preparation of the second FRMPs should take into account all aspects of flood risk management and climate change with a focus on prevention, protection and preparedness.
2. Update of the preliminary flood risk assessment;
3. Development of flood hazard and flood risk maps;
4. Update of the FRMP for 2022-2027, incl. EA.
The procedure expected result is the availability of updated FRMP for the period 2022-2027 taking into account EC recommendations in accordance with the report on the implementation of Directive 2007/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2007 on the assessment and management of flood risks.
