The aim is to provide compensation to fishing vessel owners and fishermen who have temporarily ceased fishing activities to cope with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, thus providing an opportunity to compensate for economic losses and to assist fishing vessel owners. and fishermen by ceasing fishing activities to avoid bankruptcies, preserving jobs in the fisheries sector.
