The aid under the procedure is aimed at achieving the purposes of sub-measure 8.3 “Prevention of damage to the forests from forest fires, natural disasters and catastrophic events” measure 8 “Investment in the development of forest areas and improvement of forest viability” from the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 through:
1. introduction and improvement of preventive actions for reducing the risk of forest fires;
2. introduction and improvement of preventive actions for reducing the risk from pests, diseases, natural disasters and catastrophic events in the forest areas.
