The objective of this grant procedure is to ensure stable and effective European integrated border management at the external borders, contributing to a high level of internal security within the Union, while ensuring the free movement of persons within the Union and fully respecting the relevant Union acquis and the international obligations of the Union and the Member States arising from the international instruments to which they are parties.
Within the overall objective, the implementation of the envisaged operations will contribute in particular to ensuring a sound and effective European integrated management of external borders and to ensuring a high level of internal security within the EU.
The specific objectives of this procedure are delivery and maintenance of IT equipment, renovation, upgrading and maintenance of buildings and infrastructures and the maintenance of national components of large-scale IT systems.
