Completed/terminated procedure

The overall objective of the pre-defined initiative is to ensure the rights of child victims and witnesses of violence to justice, protection and recovery in Bulgaria, by supporting multidisciplinary and interagency services.

The specific objectives of the initiative aim to:

• support the Bulgarian Barnahus team to improve its excellence in practice through training, bilateral/multilateral exchange and technical assistance, based on increased access to its peers from the Donor States and other partner countries from the Promise Barnahus Network;

• provide deеper understanding of Barnahus model and enhance its implementation in Bulgaria, according to the Barnahus Quality Standrads and the specific national needs;

• strenghten the interagency and multidisciplinary collaboration on child care and protection in Bulgaria, thus contributing to the process of harmonization of the practice in Europe.
