Through measure 1.1. "Investment in processing and marketing in the fisheries and aquaculture sector" aims to improve the competitiveness and viability of aquaculture processing plants, including improving safety and working conditions. The implementation of the measure will contribute to strengthening the role of fisheries communities and improving the competitiveness of the fisheries sector by retaining maximum added value in the area. The implementation of the measure is aimed at building new and modernizing existing processing enterprises in the sector and diversifying incomes by developing additional activities and improving the competitiveness of the fisheries sector by creating and modernizing the conditions for production and processing in the sector.
