Completed/terminated procedure

The main objective of the investment is to contribute to increasing the share of clean energy in Bulgaria's energy mix on the way to climate neutrality by providing support for the construction and integration into the electricity grid of new additional 1,425 MW of production capacity from renewable sources together with 350 MW of co-located electricity storage facilities, compared to 2022. The current procedure aims at the construction of a minimum of 200 MW of renewable generation capacity in combination with a minimum of 100 MW of co-located electricity storage.
