The measure aims to provide support aimed at modernizing the physical assets of enterprises and farmers processing agricultural products to produce new and quality products, including those related to short supply chains. Investment support will also be geared to more resource-efficient and EU-wide standards to raise the value added to agricultural products. Modernization of assets will result in the introduction of new and energy-saving technologies and innovations. Through investment support aimed at processing agricultural produce will allow employment. Assistance under the measure will ensure a fuller integration between processors and suppliers of raw materials to produce quality and specific characteristics of food products, creating opportunities for logistics connectivity between suppliers, traders and shortening the market path. Better integration between producers and processors will allow for a reduction in raw material vulnerability for vulnerable food sectors. By supporting the measure, cooperation between farmers will be encouraged when joint investments are undertaken.
The expected results are as follows:
- Upgrading 3 enterprises;
- 1 enterprise to introduce a new product or technology;
- 1 plant to produce amygdal products
