The strategy provides support for investments that contribute to diversifying fishermen's incomes through the development of complementary activities, including on-board investments, fishing tourism, fishing-related restaurants, environmental services and fisheries education activities.

It is crucial to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in order to increase the competitiveness and economic performance of aquaculture activities. The CLLD strategy will support innovative operations, the economic development of aquaculture enterprises in general, including complementary activities, such as fishing tourism, aquaculture-related environmental services or educational activities.

The implementation of the measure aims to contribute to the promotion of entrepreneurship and increase the competitiveness of enterprises in the fisheries and aquaculture sector through investments in support activities on the territory of FLAG Shabla-Kavarna-Balchik.

The measure has the following specific objectives:

1. Promoting growth and diversification to activities outside the Fisheries and Aquaculture sector for enterprises in the sector;

2. Encouraging entrepreneurship to create new jobs and increase incomes;

3. Encouraging the development of integrated tourism and related services.
