The main objective of investments under measure 19-4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings" of the Community-led LAG Lukovit-Roman Local Development Strategy is aimed at: Increasing the competitiveness of the agricultural sector on the territory of the LAG.
The specific objectives of the measure are:
- modernization of production conditions and introduction of new processes and technologies, storage and transport with a view to reducing direct costs of production, increasing labor productivity and quality or expanding production on farms;
- investments in environmental protection machinery and equipment, including manure storage;
- compliance with European Union (EU) standards and improvement of farm conditions;
- encouraging young people up to the age of 40
