BG14MFOP001-1.004 - Limiting the impact of fishing on the marine environment and adapting fisheries to species conservation
The activities provided for in this procedure will contribute to the promotion of environmentally sustainable, innovative, competitive and knowledge-based fisheries characterized by resource efficiency.
The measure promotes investments that reduce the impact of fisheries on the marine environment, including avoiding and minimizing unwanted catches as much as possible, and contributing to the conservation and restoration of aquatic biodiversity and aquatic ecosystems.
