Eligible applicants under this project selection procedure are limited to:

1. Accredited higher education institutions under Article 85, paragraph 1, item 7 of the Higher Education Act (HEA), which are accredited by the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (NEAA) to provide training for the educational and scientific degree “Doctor”;

2. Scientific organizations under Article 47, paragraph 1 of the HEA, accredited by NEAA to provide training for the educational and scientific degree “Doctor”;

3. Scientific organizations as defined in §1, item 1, letter “b” of the Supplementary Provisions of the Law on the Promotion of Scientific Research (LPSR), i.e. legal entities that simultaneously meet the following conditions:

• Conduct scientific research activities, for which they have reported more than half of their expenses in each of the last three years;

• Have scientific publications in indexed and peer-reviewed journals;

• Employ at least seven individuals under labor contracts for conducting scientific research, each of whom holds a “Doctor” degree.
