Show more15:45Claude responded: The competition is announced on the basis of the Agreement between the People's Republic of Bulgaria and the People's Republic of China on the Main Guidelines …The competition is announced on the basis of the Agreement between the People's Republic of Bulgaria and the People's Republic of China on the Main Guidelines for Long-Term Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation, signed on 06.05.1987 in Beijing, and the Protocol of the Eighteenth Session of the Bulgarian-Chinese Commission for Scientific and Technological Cooperation of 27.10.2025, held in Sofia.

The aim of this programme is to develop the scientific and technological exchange of excellent achievements between research laboratories of the two countries, by encouraging new cooperation and the participation of young researchers and doctoral students.

The leading institution under the programme on the part of the People's Republic of China is the Ministry of Science and Technology, and on the Bulgarian side it is the Ministry of Education and Science through the National Scientific Research Fund.

The scientific fields in which projects will be funded are:

sustainable agriculture, food and biotechnology;

information and communication technologies;

health and biomedicine.
