Guidelines for submitting project proposals:
The purpose of this procedure within the EIG CONCERT-Japan programme is to support activities related to international scientific and technological cooperation through the implementation of joint research projects between scientists and research teams from Bulgaria, other European countries and Japan. The joint initiative is carried out in accordance with the application conditions adopted under the programme, approved by the participating funding organisations and the applicable national eligibility requirements and conditions.
The funding under this procedure aims to encourage the conduct of joint fundamental scientific research directed towards the development of solutions in priority thematic areas. Activities related to the exchange of scientific knowledge, researcher mobility, and the establishment of sustainable partnerships between research organisations from Europe and Japan are supported, with a view to enhancing scientific capacity and international competitiveness.
Eligible applicants from Bulgaria are research organisations meeting the requirements set out in the National Eligibility Requirements and Conditions and the Regulations of the National Scientific Research Fund. The specific conditions for participation, eligible activities, thematic areas, application and funding deadlines, as well as other specific requirements are defined in the documents for the call under the EIG CONCERT-Japan programme approved by the consortium.
The call is announced as part of a joint invitation for project proposals, in accordance with the arrangements between the participating funding organisations from European countries and Japan.
Scientific fields:
Projects in all scientific fields submitted in accordance with the call topic AI-Powered Robotics for Real World Applications will be funded.
