The programme provides opportunities for long-term collaboration between research teams in the fields of materials science, natural sciences, and engineering. The call involves 34 funding organizations from EU Member States and associated partners from non-EU countries. The total indicative budget for the 2026 call is approximately €39 million.
The call will fund project proposals in the following thematic areas:
Materials for energy storage and distribution systems
Materials for energy conversion
Innovative surfaces, coatings and interfaces
Innovative functional materials with defined architectures
Materials addressing environmental challenges
Next generation materials for electronics
IMPORTANT: The participation of Bulgarian research teams in this call is eligible only for fundamental research projects.
