The operation aims to ensure equality of deaf and deaf-blind people in Bulgaria by building a national digital platform and a mobile web-based application for translation services from and into Bulgarian sign language in real time.
Providing accessible communication with the help of modern information technologies through the Bulgarian sign language will lead to greater accessibility, to appropriate and accessible services that they need. The platform will support deaf and deaf-blind people in their daily lives, including solving administrative tasks, providing them with easier access to education and training, enabling them to live independently and participate fully in all aspects of life.
