The Bulgarian National Science Fund invites applications for participation in the first joint call under the European Partnership ERDERA on the topic:
Resolving unsolved cases in rare genetic and non-genetic diseases.
The transnational initiative brings together 35 funding organisations from 27 countries which, with co-funding from the European Commission, will provide financial support for research projects aimed at generating new knowledge for the prevention, diagnosis, and care of patients with rare diseases.

Call conditions:
• Projects under the programme shall have a duration of 3 years.
Eligible applicants under the present project selection procedure are only candidates who are:
accredited higher education institutions under Art. 85(1), item 7 of the Higher Education Act, accredited by the National Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation (NEAA) to provide education leading to the educational and scientific degree “Doctor”;
research organisations under Art. 47(1) of the Higher Education Act, accredited by the NEAA to provide education leading to the educational and scientific degree “Doctor”, as well as research organisations pursuant to §1, item 1 of the Additional Provisions of the Act on the Promotion of Scientific Research and Innovation.
