The strategy provides support for investments that contribute to diversifying fishermen's income through the development of complementary activities, including investments on board vessels, fishing tourism, restaurants related to fisheries environmental services and fisheries education activities.
In order to increase the competitiveness and economic performance of aquaculture activities, it is crucial to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. The CLLD strategy will support innovative operations, the economic development of aquaculture enterprises as a whole, including complementary activities such as fishing tourism, aquaculture-related environmental services or educational activities.
The implementation of the measure aims to promote entrepreneurship and increase the competitiveness of enterprises in the Fisheries and Aquaculture sector by investing in support activities in the FLAG Shabla-Kavarna-Balchik.
The measure has the following specific objectives:
1. Encouraging growth and diversification into activities outside the Fisheries and Aquaculture sector for businesses in the sector;
2. Encouraging entrepreneurship to create new jobs and raise incomes;
3. Promoting the development of integrated tourism and related services.
