Completed/terminated procedure

The procedure is aimed at supporting the country's participation in building the EU quantum communication infrastructure within the Euro QCI initiative. The grant is provided for the construction of a path with a length of up to 5 km, equipped with three platforms and two intermediate encryptors, as well as its integration into the terrestrial communication network of a telecommunications operator for the implementation of quantum communication in accordance with the guidelines of the European Commission.

The implementation of the activity will ensure the acquisition of experience and competence for the timely inclusion of the national telecommunications operators to the European QCI network, i.e. successful and effective integration of the country into the next generation of EU communication infrastructure.
