Completed/terminated procedure

The main objective of procedure "Development of a modern industrial property system by supporting the activity of the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria" is to increase the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of the services provided by the Patent Office for the business related to the protection of the industrial property objects.

The activities in support to the development of modern and new for the country services provided by the Patent Office will lead to an increase of the innovation activity of the Bulgarian enterprises by creating the necessary environment for the development of innovations. As a result of the implementation of the envisaged activities under investment priority 1.1 "Technological development and innovation" of OPIC and the current procedure it is expected that the innovative capacity and the level of the users’ satisfaction from the Patent Office services will be improved through: improving the information environment, creating better conditions for customer service, improving communication with all stakeholders, providing adequate and useful information about the services provided by the Office and the different types of procedures, raising the level of knowledge and awareness of industrial property among businesses and applying relevant good practices and procedures in the field of industrial property protection.
