Title:

UMIS 2020 UPGRADE

Content:

Dear UMIS 2020 users,

The e-application module in the system has been updated with the following changes:

- A new "Completed and terminated Procedures" section has been created where you can access information on all procedures that have already been completed and all procedures that have been terminated;

- A section for public discussion of the upcoming procedures in the UMIS has been created where all registered users may send comments and remarks directly through the system by the end date for public discussion. All the comments and the relevant positions of the managing authorities for procedures with expired public discussion will be visible in the new section "Archive Public Discussion".

The “E-Reporting” module in the system has also been updated to facilitate the users with the following changes:

- If an error is made in the choice of the type of payment request (pre-payment request, pre-verifiable under Article 131 of Regulation 1303/2013, interim and final), an adjustment may be made by amending an interim request for payment of final and vice versa, as well as an advance payment request in advance, subject to verification under Art. 131 of EU Regulation 1303/2013, and vice versa. The change described is possible for draft documents as well as for requests, which are returned by the managing authority for correction.

- When creating a batch of reporting documents, no replenishment period is required for the entire bundle of documents. The start and end dates of the reporting period are required only for each individual item in the batch - a technical report, a financial report and a payment request.

- An opportunity has been created for the managing authority to indicate to the beneficiaries what documents are required for the reporting as well as the documents connected with the contractor selection procedures. If the managing authority requires certain documents to be attached to the reporting document or has made limitations on the admissible extensions, the system will report error messages when filling in the data. The document will only be closed if all application requirements are met.

The changes described are intended to assist in the submission of all mandatory reporting documents as well as to facilitate the correction of technical errors in the reporting documentation.

For further information, please consult the updated version of the user manuals for the “E- Application” and “E-Reporting” modules in section “Help” or you may also contact us via section “Feedback” in the system, as well as by e-mail: support2020@government.bg.
