Completed/terminated procedure

The main objective of the investment is to contribute to increasing the share of clean energy in Bulgaria's energy mix on the way to climate neutrality by providing support for the construction and integration into the electricity grid of new additional 1,425 MW of production capacity from renewable sources together with 350 MW of co-located electricity storage, compared to 2022. The current procedure aims to build a minimum of 940 MW of renewable generation capacity in combination with a minimum of 200 MW of co-located electricity storage.
