The purpose of the procedure is to contribute to increasing the expert capacity of the beneficiaries under Priority 5 "Air" of Programme Environment 2021-2027, as well as of the bodies involved in the development and /or the implementation of policies and/or measures related to ambient air quality, including control over their implementation, at national, regional and local level. In addition, the procedure envisages the establishment of a National Network of Ambient Air Quality Experts with the aim to cooperate, exchange knowledge, experience and good practices in the field of protecting ambient air quality.
