The overall aim of the procedure is to create conditions for equal access to education by creating a favorable, inclusive, innovative, energy-efficient, supportive and motivating educational environment that contributes to increasing the motivation for learning and self-training and improving the educational results of children and school students.
The specific objectives of the procedure are:
• Support for the transition to a one-shift regime of education in schools on the territory of the municipalities of Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas, where no conditions have been created for such an organization, and to overcome the shortage of places in kindergartens in the territory of the Metropolitan Municipality with a view to creating conditions for the successful introduction of compulsory preschool education for children over 4 years of age;
• Provision of a modern physical base that guarantees healthy and quality conditions for learning in the institutions of the preschool and school education system through construction of new buildings for schools and kindergartens on the territory of the municipalities of Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas for a secure, ecological, sustainable, inclusive, attractive, healthy and safe learning environment, upbringing and socialization of learners to develop their potential.
