The implementation of the measure aims to promote social well-being, poverty reduction and economic development in the territory of the FLAG by improving and developing the technical infrastructure for activities related to the integrated use of marine resources - blue growth. The measure provides investment support for investments in the creation, improvement or expansion of public infrastructure related to the fishing and local community, including for scientific and research activities related to the protection and sustainable management of the environment, waters and the sea.

The improvement of access to existing fishing facilities is encouraged, the development of areas where fishermen land their catches. The construction and modernization of fishing-related facilities is also financed. Investments in connecting infrastructure to fishing ports, landing ports and boathouses on the territory of the fishing area will be supported, investments aimed at education, science and research and environmental protection and other public infrastructure. Landscaping and improving the landscape around fishing facilities is permissible in order to improve the image of the sector and attract tourists, as well as improve access for people with disabilities.
