The strategy provides support for investments that contribute to diversifying fishermen's incomes by developing complementary activities, including investments on board vessels, fishing tourism, restaurants related to fishing, environmental services and educational activities in the field of fishing.

Promoting innovation and entrepreneurship is crucial to increasing the competitiveness and economic performance of aquaculture activities. The CLLD strategy will support innovative operations, the economic development of aquaculture enterprises in general, including complementary activities, such as fishing tourism, aquaculture-related environmental services or educational activities.

The implementation of the measure aims to contribute to the promotion of entrepreneurship and increase the competitiveness of enterprises in the fisheries and aquaculture sector through investments in support activities on the territory of FLAG Shabla-Kavarna-Balchik.

The measure has the following specific objectives:

1. Promoting growth and diversification to activities outside the Fisheries and Aquaculture sector for enterprises in the sector;

2. Encouraging entrepreneurship to create new jobs and increase incomes;

3. Encouraging the development of integrated tourism and related services.
