The purpose of the call is to improve the capacity for marine water management by improving the knowledge base for informed management of marine environment, to develop and implement modern methods and tools for maritime monitoring and a comprehensive system for improving the state of the marine environment. Specific measures under the MSFD will be implemented and the coordination between Bulgaria and Romania regarding the protection of the Black Sea will be improved.
