The purpose of the procedure is to support the professional development of specialty trainees in the health care system, as well as to promote the professional direction and realization of the specialty trainees, with an emphasis on certain specialties with the greatest current or expected shortage of specialists or in areas in the country with an identified shortage of specialists.
