Purpose of the procedure:

Improvement of the production processes in SMEs from the LAG territory through investment in tangible and intangible fixed assets, introduction of leading technological solutions, expansion of production by adding new features or improving existing products and services.

The analysis of the territory shows little development of the industrial enterprises in the territory of two municipalities, which are within the scope of the LAG „Panagyurishte, Strelcha, Lesichovo“, - Strelcha and Lesichovo municipalities, which in turn leads to lower economic development and - a low standard of living in these settlements. According to the National Strategy for Small and Medium Enterprises Development categorization, most of the industrial enterprises in the territory fall into the category "Low-tech and medium-sized industrial enterprises", the majority of which operate in the production of timber and timber products, furniture production, and metal products, food and beverage production as well as non-classified production elsewhere. They need to increase their production capacity, optimize production processes, replace obsolete technologies with new ones, and improve the quality of manufactured products. SMEs also need generic production investments to improve production capacity for growth through the efficient and efficient use of production factors and by building up opportunities for adopting and adapting European and international knowledge and technologies; from supporting specialized services for developing and strengthening management capacity and supporting growth through quality improvement and by promoting the use of information and communication technologies and services.
