The NPDs set out conservation measures for Natura 2000 species and habitats to be implemented in the 2014-2020 period, the relevant indicative financial resources needed to implement them as well as the sources of funding.A measure of the NRWD under which activities to improve the conservation status of species and habitats within the Natura 2000 network, through the community-led local development approach and which is financed by the 2014-2020 OPE is measure 109 "Investments in conservation activities to maintain / improve the conservation status of species and natural habitats".

The implementation of the activities under the procedure should provide support to improve the conservation status of species of the Natura 2000 network reported in 2013 in implementation of Art. 17 of the Habitats Directive in an "unfavorably unsatisfactory" state, as well as to contribute to the implementation of the "Local community-led development" approach on the territory of LIS Hissar.
