Financial support is provided to carry out capacity-building activities and preparatory actions to support the development and future implementation of strategies that contribute to the development of fisheries and aquaculture communities in the coastal and inland areas of the country and on along the Danube river. Through partnerships between interested parties, the aim is to find solutions to the main problems and challenges related to fishing pressure on stocks, raising the image of fish farming, low profitability of the population in fishing areas, the advanced age of the workforce and the aging of the population, retention of young people in the territory of fishing areas and dealing with environmental challenges. The support will improve the quality of life of the population in communities dependent on fisheries and aquaculture
