The procedure objective is to contribute to the improvement of the ambient air quality by reducing the excessive levels of fine particulate matter (PM10) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) in order to achieve the established air quality limit values by addressing the transport as pollution source. Within the procedure, the purchase and delivery of new modern eco-friendly electric means of transport (rolling stock) will be supported. This will contribute to the reduction of harmful emissions, noise and vibrations as well as the reduction of energy consumption.
