The procedure is focused on supporting actions aimed at addressing the main security threats, and in particular prevention and fight against terrorism, radicalisation, serious and organized crime. Support will be provided for the purchase of appropriate equipment, the strengthening of operational cooperation and the enhancement of the capacity in the filed of fight against crimes. Under the procedure, the training of relevant officials and experts will be also supported, as well as the increase of the coordination and the strengthening of the cooperation between the competent authorities at national and European level. In addition, opportunities will be provided for the implementation of a specific action to strengthen cross-border cooperation and operational support aimed at the maintenance of security-related systems of the Union and national ICT systems and networks.
