Funding projects by OPIC on the territory of LAG Svilengrad Areal through the approved local development strategy is expected to receive the following results corresponding to Priority Axis 2 "Entrepreneurship and Capacity Growth for SMEs"

2. Investment Priority "SME Capacity Growth ":

- general production investments to improve capacity production for growth through the efficient use of production factors and by building up opportunities for adopting and adapting European and international knowledge and technologies;

As a result of the supported activities, it is expected to improve competitiveness, to create export potential and to improve the market presence of SMEs on the territory LAG Svilengrad-Areal through embedded technologies to improve the production process, achieve higher productivity, reduce production costs and optimizing the production chain, respectively increasing value added and active inclusion at all stages of the value added chain.

- support for specialized services for SMEs to develop and strengthen management capacity;

As a result of the supported activities, it is expected the capacity of SMEs on the territory of LAG Svilengrad-Areal to work in intensively competitive markets, increasing their competitiveness and their sustainable presence in foreign markets respectively.

- supporting business growth by improving quality and promoting the use of ICT and services;

As a result of the supported activities, the capacity of SMEs on the territory of LAG Svilengrad-Areal is expected to improve in order to make a competitive and robust business market and to provide faster and easier access to foreign markets by increasing and improving the use of ICT and services, and optimizing business management processes.
